Autumn’s New Mood
Posted by Michelle Nugent on
Even though there is still warmth in the air, with the cloudy grey days and the arrival of September, our mood turns to the new season.
For autumn, we bring in deeper shades of our signature colours with some vibrant contrasts. Think grape and aubergine instead of pinks, dark petrol and navy blues and deeper shades of grey, contrasted with warm, hearty, turmeric yellow.
Like changing up your wardrobe, changing up your home accessories is a great way to welcome the new season.
Swap the lighter colours and textures of summer for cosier, richer items in Autumn.
Put away your pale cushions and lightweight throws until next Spring and bring out some warm tones and textures ready to get cosy.
This Autumn, treat your living room like your closet and replace cotton accessories with wools. And our all-season sheepskins really come into their own at this time of year. You don’t have to put them on the floor, instead them drape over chairs, sofas or beds to add sumptuous texture for the colder months.
